Day 2: Tbilisi – A City of Legends & Poetry
(Breakfast included | Lunch & dinner optional)
Your exploration begins at 10:00 AM with a warm Georgian greeting: “Gamarjoba, genatsvale!” (Hello, welcome!).
Tbilisi—the “warm city”—owes its name to the natural sulfur springs that bubble beneath its streets. According to legend, King Vakhtang Gorgasali founded the city after his falcon and a pheasant were tragically boiled in these thermal waters. Today, Tbilisi is a mesmerizing blend of ancient history and modern energy, where terracotta-domed baths stand alongside sleek business centers.
This city has inspired poets for centuries—Pushkin called it a “Magic Land,” while Lermontov, Griboyedov, Tolstoy, and Gorky found literary inspiration in its winding alleys and dramatic landscapes. As you explore, you’ll understand why: Tbilisi’s unique architecture, cobblestone streets, and breathtaking vistas create an atmosphere unlike any other city in the world.

Indulge in a traditional Georgian feast at a local restaurant, complete with folk dances, polyphonic singing, and a lavish spread of regional delicacies.
